From whitewater rafting down the Deschutes River to hiking along serene forest trails, Riverhouse on the Deschutes is conveniently located in Bend and close to most of Central Oregon’s outdoor adventures. Bend offers a variety of activities that will capture your imagination or get your heart pumping. Discover the scenic beauty of the Cascade Mountains in all its seasons: ski or snowboard down runs on Mount Bachelor, bike along scenic Deschutes River trail or simply marvel at the Three Sisters Mountains. When it’s time to unwind after a day of activity, explore downtown Bend where there are charming local retail shops, gourmet restaurants and microbreweries. Or head to the Old Mill District along the Deschutes River to find more shopping, dining options, bike rentals, movie theater and summer concerts at Les Schwab Amphitheater.
Let Wanderlust Tours take you behind the scenes with either the Bend Brew Bus or the Local Pour to witness Bend’s brewing and artisan distilling cultures. Your professional guide will provide insights into the processes of distillation, fermentation and the craft of making beer all while sampling the passions of the producer. When the snow melts, we are happy that it ends up in a glass. Cheers!
