Jingle Bell Run & Christmas Parade | December 6 
Bend traditions happen the first weekend in December: the Jingle Bell Run and Downtown Christmas Parade. The Jingle Bell Run is a 5K run benefiting the Arthritis Foundation. Get your jingle bells on, reindeer ears and gather your friends and form a team. After the race, stick around for the Christmas Parade wrapping around downtown. 
The Hobbit | December 5, 6, 12 & 13
Watch a classic story come to live on the stage of in this BEAT Production at 2nd Street Theatre
Christmas Paddle | December 12
Gather the family or get ready to decorate your kayak, stand up paddle board or canoe for Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe's annual Christmas Paddle along the Deschutes River in the Old Mill. Spectator's viewing is from 4:15- 6 pm. 
Santaland Diaries | December 18-22
Based in the outlandish and true chronicles of David Sedaris’ experience as Crumpet the Elf in Macy’s Santaland display, Clinton Clark returns to 2nd Street Theatre for this hilarious cult classic featuring comic encounters during the height of the holiday crunch. 
A Tower Christmas | December 21
Get in the holiday spirit at "A Tower Christmas" an event showcasing popular and beloved stories, dances and songs, performed by many of Central Oregon’s celebrities on December 21 and 22 at the Tower Theatre.
